About Affordable Tub to Step in Showers of Ohio

Affordable Step in Shower has been converting existing bathtubs into walk-/ step in showers in the Ohio cities of Akron, Cleveland, Lorain, Mansfield, Parma, Sandusky, Toledo, Warren & Erie, PA and their surrounding communities since 2005. Our tub to step in shower & walk-in tub conversion business stemmed from an outgrowth of demand by seniors concerned for their bath safety.

As a volunteer grab bar installer for our local department on aging, seniors would approach me to ask if I could remodel their bathroom. After several requests, it was evident that they feared stepping over the high rail of their tub in order to take a shower. This motivated me to explore the various tubcut processes available. After weighing the options, I chose the Safeway Step & began converting existing bathtubs into showers. As word spread, my client based stretched from the Akron / Cleveland / Warren areas to communities eastward into Erie, PA. Shortly thereafter I brought my brother in law on board to handle requests from Toledo, Sandusky, Mansfield & the Lorain/Elyria areas.

Since we are family and our name goes on your installation, we do not sub-contract your job. The person with whom you meet / speak to is normally the person who will do your tub to shower or walk-in bath tub installation; i.e. no “he said/she said conflicts”. We are insured & bonded (where necessary) and have a growing list of satisfied residential & institutional clients (references are available on request). Since our inception, we estimate that we have saved NE Ohio residents & institutions over $200,000 in remodeling costs. We are members of the Concord / Leroy Chamber of Commerce.
